**Spoilers-maybe?***
Yeah, Yeah, I know this is old news. But, I felt I needed to chime in on this one. The title to this blog should be how the Internet ruined Terminator Salvation. From Ace Showbiz:

The ending of "Terminator Salvation" will be a big surprise after all. Moviehole reported that a Warner Bros. insider has claimed to have seen the McG-directed action thriller and stated big changes have been done to it over the past few months, resulting the third act of the film to be completely altered.

The changes to the ending of the movie starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington were made reportedly due to the script leak back in 2008. The source further revealed that the new ending has tested quite well and "it's gotten a much better reaction than the 'big reveal' in the script did". On the new ending, the source was quoted as saying, "A complete [180] from the original film. Works better. Probably not as hard to swallow. Real good though."

I remember hearing about this a while ago, and though I was thoroughly disappointed that the ending was ruined for me, I was genuinely excited about the prospect of the Terminator franchise taking such an unexpected turn. Apparently this new ending has tested much better with audiences. Which leads me to believe that it's probably way more of a softball ending than the previous one. My suspicion is that instead of the original ending with John Conner's skin being grafted to the Marcus Wright frame, we instead see John Conner reprogramming Wright and mapping Arnold's(the original Terminator) skin onto onto his frame in preparation to send him to the past to protect his mother. This would set up the events that take place in the first movie as well as create a totally amazing time-line. If only...
